Nokia E62 / E61
Two questions about e62 firmware and video...
O.k... I haven't seen were anybody has updated the firmware of an e-62. has this been done yet? I noticed when I looked at installing some blackberry stuff that Nokia was asking which version of software my phone had. How do I upgrade to the newer version? Also, I have been try to encode video for play on the e-62 but am having no good success. Sometimes the videos will play but not smooth at all, very jerky! Does anyone have any recommendations as to what software I should use and what encoding options? Thanks!

O.k... Downloaded the div-x player and the videos are WAAAYYYY much smoother and better looking! Highly recommend doing this! But still have not found software of firmware update...

Last I knew, ATT has asked Nokia to disallow E62 users to upgrade the firmware. E61 users have the option, but not e62. I don't really know why, except that I know ATT is very concerned with phones operating just right, and they might be worried that messing with the software will cause issues. Thats about all I can figure.
