This phone has the ______________ to play music through bluetooth... right?
my phone can play music through bluetooth. I noticed when i play videos on the phone the sound comes on so i decided to see if it worked with music....it did. I have an unlocked RAZR V3i. Isn't that bluetooth profile AD2P?

What phone do you have??? Mine is from Europe GSM unlocked!! I think that phones that are sold here have that feature

The phone is a Motorola V3i with Cingular service in the U.S. I think it is locked. I'm not sure because the phone is not my personal phone. I work for a company that makes Bluetooth headsets and one of the phones we are required to operate with is the V3i.

Check to see if it has the cingular menu looks and the back for the cingular logo, that is how you realy see if its locked!

The information screen says the phone is not MP3 ready, but I can play songs through the phone's speakers. I can't play the songs through Bluetooth.

Another piece of information:
I know the headset supports and is reporting Bluetooth A2DP. I can play music just fine with the LG VX8500 Chocolate.
