V3i versus CU500
I am looking for anyone who has had a side by side comparison of these two phones. I dont need a summary of feature versus feature as I can read those for myself, but I'd like opinions of pros/cons of one versus the other. Thanks!
p.s. Does "ITunes" mean that I cannot use regular ripped mp3s?

I previously had the V3i and now own the CU500. You can use regular Mp3's in the V3i, but because it uses itunes, you are limited to either 50 or 100 Mp3's. Not sure, but the Cingular version is probably 100. I had an unlocked V3i and it had a 50 Mp3 limit. The Cu500 doesn't have a limit. Between the 2 phones, I like the Cu500 much better. One more thing. The speaker volume on the V3i is kind of low, but you can tweak it using some software and the data cable. I can't remember the software, but you can find out on www.howardforums.com I couldn't get any software to work on my PC with the V3i. On the CU500, when you go into the Engineering Mode, you can tweak the earpiece volume from there. You will need to do that because the volume in the earpiece isn't so good when you get the phone. There are fluctuations in the callers voice and it's annoying, but one you change one of the settings, it is fine.

What do you change on the CU500 in engineer mode to make the earpiece ok?
