******THE REAL REASON THE T809 WAS DROPPED!!!**********

I think this phone was discontinued because You can flash the t809 to the original version of the phone and use it the way it was ment to be used. I think tmobile got wind of people flashing there t809's to the d820 and getting alot of funtionality that the t809 lacked for free and they didn't like it Eh? .

Here's a short list of the benifits of flashing to the D820 which is the real version of the t809:

* Mp3 as ringtone support (no renaming needed)
* No Ascending ringer
* Vibrate and ring simultaneously
* Email client
* Change soft key functions
* Install non-signed java applications ie; opera mini, google maps etc.
* Unlock the phone (use on any carrier)

As you can see there are many benifits that address most of the issues...

How do you flash the t809 and could it cause problems? I am not the handiest when it comes to tech stuff...
