Reception in Marin &/or Sonoma County...?

Does anyone who lives in Marin or Sonoma County, CA own this device? I'd like to know how the reception is - especially in Sonoma County. I'm very experienced with owning a device that has mediocre reception on Sprint's network, and would prefer not to invest in such a device again! Sonoma County tends to have several "black holes" that can only be avoided by owning a Sanyo or higher end LG (in my experience & 7 years as a Sprint Customer)!

I rarely have cell signal and I live in King County Washington State. Seattle is less than 20 miles from my house and I work in Redmond WA which is only a few miles from Seattle. I just bought the PPC6700 and it does not work at my house nor along the main highway splitting WA State (I-90). It has an on/off signal issue while in Redmond as well. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It constantly goes into ROAM even while clearly in the calling area. I had it "diagnosed" yesterday at Sprint and they tell me it is working fine. The signal meter was all over the place while at the Sprint store and the rep told me it was doing that because of the EVDO and Wi-Fi. He told me that you cannot run any applications that use the Internet or Active...
