Audio Quality

Having previously owned an MPX220, I've noticed that the sound quality of the 2125, when playing mp3s in Windows Media through the headphones, doesn't quite have the full range of sound that the MPX220 had. Is there an equalizer, or a way to adjust the sound? It really seems that it's just the bass. Has anybody noticed this, or know a way to adjust the bass? Thanks.

I meant the bass, as in the lack there of. Any suggestions? Are there any 3rd party programs, or am I missing something?
