Hmm.....

Does anyone know if a firmware update would enable WiFi on this. It seems stupid that they would make a whole different phone just to leave out the WiFi chipset. I'm just thinking that maybe cingular wanted it turned off so that they could charge there customers for using their EDGE service.
Any thoughts.

my guess would be that they physically took this feature out of the phone. it pisses me off that cingular purposely did this. if you ask me, it just shows that cingular is indeed evil and extremely greedy. i'm just glad the t-mobile version will include it, at least they have some heart
