Although I agree with many of the statements on this forum regarding the look of this phone and lack of functionality, I must confess that I am considering buying this phone for my 8 year old daughter. I love that there are only 4 phone numbers in the book and an emergency number as well.

I have an 8 yr old and a 12 yr old daughter and I have found out the hard way that trusting teenagers with a phone is not the easiest thing to do.

Still much better than giving a child free reign over something that is almost impossible to control.

Teenagers and children must play with things that are new to them or to fit in with a crowd.

From what I've gathered, there are only 4 numbers you can program. That was one of the selling points, the fact that there are only a very limited amount of numbers to program into the phone. This phone would be a great phone to give to children because of the certain features like one touch dial of the 4 numbers and 911 plus it has GPS for pin-point location of your child.

The phone only has 4 speed dial locations, the quick 911 button is good except when the kids are bored or they dont lock the keypad!!

Even Better......The Emergancy button can be re-programed so that way if the child hits the button, he/she will call either myself, or Grandma and Grandpa.
