The battery sucks!!
Here's my story about the phone...
I came from a sidekick II to this wonderful phone! I love everything about this phone, except the battery!!! I suppose I'm a pretty heavy user But I can't believe how quick the battery gets drained!! If you plan on getting this phone make sure you get a car charger or can charge it somewhere half way thru your day especially if you plan on using bluetooth or the wifi features!!

OK, first, the n00b questions:
How long was the battery used? Did you charge it completely before using it for the first time?
Now that we've got that out of the way...
Did you know that you can press the power button once to put the device into "phone only/standby" mode? This will turn off WiFi and ActiveSync, but you'll still be able to use this as a phone. This is MUCH better than simply locking the device. If you just lock the device, any simple brush or bump to the keys or screen will cause the device to light up. Over an entire day, that can result in some serious drain on the battery.
So...when you're not using the phone, press the power button.

I was surpised by this post - After about a week with this phone, I think the battery life is excellent. After 3 days of average use, the battery still showed 72%.
I just switched from a Moto v710 - talk about bad battery life!

When the 8125 is in stand by mode, it still runs programs. You need to stop running programs in stand by mode, it runs down the battery. My 8125 last 3 days as well before needing a charge.
