Moto Phone Tools
I just got the RAZR and have heard about Moto Phone Tools. Can somebody give me a quick rundown of what this software actually does? I am particularly interested in syncing my phone book and creating ringtones. Does this work fine for that? I guess I don't want to waste my money or my time and want to be sure this stuff works with little headaches.

I purchased phone tools v 4.0 and use it on my RAZR from US Cellular. I can upload mp3 ringtones, update/sync my contacts and appointments, updownload and download pics and more. I am very pleased with the purchase. No more aggravation trying to get ringtones using easyedge - which I totally despise. You may want to look into the place I bought my software from - they were much less expensive, very reputable and sell the original product. They have a store on ebay here is the link:

I am not a shill for them. I just found that they are reasonable and fast. Their cost for phone tools 4.0 is: $18.49 + $5.00 shipping. Far less than the $49.99 from motorola direct.

Hey, thanks again! I got the MPT 4.0 in the mail yesterday. The cost was less than half of what it retails for and it was the original version straight from Motorola.
I downloaded it and spent the evening "syncing" my phone book and creating my own ringtones from my mp3 files. It couldn't be easier. This product is certainly worth the full retail price. Paying half is even better. : )
