DL Ringtones, etc. to Mac, Use Bluetooth Transfer to Phone?

Is there any reason why you can't download ringtones/pix to a Mac then transfer the files via Bluetooth to the z520a?

Any suggestions on how to do so?

For the record, I'm using a D-Link DBT-120 dongle for connectivity (love transferring between my Mac's address book & my phone!)...

Thanks in advance!

I had no problem @ all using my buddies new MacBook Pro w/ built in bluetooth. I was able to send java programs and ringtones. Also was able to use my phone as a mouse....kinda cool.

So, Foneguy... Did you do anything special or use anything special (applications/software?) to accomplish the task?

Now using the phone as a mouse is a new one -- I must know more as I'm no fan of using trackpads and have a very tiny mouse connected to my PowerBook...

You just gotta love how tech just gets better & better & better!

I have the same D-Link BT adaptor @ work on a pc. The mouse feature is awesome!! Try the following steps..

Open the D-Link BT manager. Click on "Find BT Devices". Click on the Z520. Click on "Mouse & Keyboard". A box will pop up, click Yes. A prompt will come up on your fone, click Yes. Another prompt will come up on your fone, click Yes. On your fone, scroll down and select "Desktop". AND WALLA. Use the up & down arrows to control the mouse.

Like I said, I'm using a pc here, should be the same on a mac.

ENJOY!!

Also to transfer files back and forth....just use the D-Link BT connection manager. If you have a ringtone or something you want on the fone just use the Obex File Transfer that is with the D-Link setup. Just drag wha...

How did you get your files onto the phone? I am using Drag'n'Tooth and I can't get images I send to the phone to display anything but a black screen.
I was able to get a MP3 file to the phone and got it to play.
Thanks in advance for any help.
