Z520 Performance
I am looking at the V557 and the Sony Eric Z520 at Cingular. Also the Samsung A940 at Sprint.
Would appreciate any reports on your satisfaction with the Z520.

I upgraded to the z520a from a SE T637, and this phone has decidedly better battery life and reception. I can go for about five days without charging the phone (although I don't talk a lot). I think, on the whole, that the battery estimates are pretty correct from SE. And I'm VERY pleased with the reception.

Beware that if you use the phone and media net to poll your imap email often (5 minute intervals) you will chew through the battery in less than 2 days. This is with light voice usage too. At least that is my experience.

The reception on this phone is the best I've owned. This phone works in my office (steel building) where no phone has ever worked. My previous phones would only work in a few places in my home while this one works everywhere. Battery life with moderate use is 4 or 5 days which for me is excellent.
