stub ant (497) vs internal (495) different performance?
can I expect any difference in performance between x495 with internal antenna and x497 with stub (or s307 with stub).

Your signal strength has a lot to do with tower location.
I can only give you advice from my region (southEast USA).
To compare the Samsung r225 STUD antenna VS.
Samsung x495 internal.
The Samsung x495 has a better reception in my area. Both performed good, but the 495 better.
