this phone looks like a joke. as a dealer i fail to see how it will beat my x427m which has better battery life. ok so its triband and has a camera. i cannot fathom how it would be a better phone. the improvements that i see appear to be almost entirely cosmetic. those of you who are brave enough to buy or upgrade to this phone, good luck to you. i will keep my x427m thanks.

that may be so but that does not negate the poor talk time. 2.5 hrs on the x497 vs 5-7 hours on the x427m

T-Mobile's Post-paid account version will be white and grey. The pre-paid version will be white and dark-blue.

Wondering if they have slightly different software on the prepaid vs. the post-paid which is what I have. Looks like it will be an "alright" phone either way!

marketing materials identify the x475 prepaid t-mo togo handsets as "NO" hifi ringers as opposed to "YES" on the x475 post.

this could be due to a change in the wap browser settings, or maybe the portal access points set to help avoid port 80 misuse with "free t-zones" on t-mo togo.

for whatever reason, if these two handsets are not identical (aside from coloring), it is a most inappropriate business tactic, and i am confused as to how they can be labeled with the same model number.

I should clarify that I am on the "post-paid" plan. (recieving monthly bills in the mail). My E315 has great service...and I was saying that perhaps there is a difference as was stated earlier in previous postings, that there were software or programming differences in each version of the phone for T Mobile.
