I got mine a week ago today, and I must say that I think it is by far the most useful phone I have ever had. I purchased mine as a replacement for my V710. I have a Dell Axim PDA that I barely use for any thing more then GPS navigation while driving, I find relying on wifi to be a bit of a pain in the butt.

The form factor of the 7130e is simply awesome, in comparison to other PDA/Smartphones. It fits in my hand nicely and has a nice loud clear ear piece.

I use the phone with my Jabra 250V and it works perfectly.

For my work, all of my daily assignments are sent to me via email, as well as any information I request from the company, this equates to about 10+ emails per day that are work related. The Blackberry Internet Service is g...

Having used the phone for about a month now, I stand by my first comments. As far as reception....

I am a Private Investigator and operate in Eastern PA, all of NJ, and Northern and Central DE. Reception is just as good as I had on my V710 and I have yet to find myself in a area that i did not have a signal, unless you count those small pockets up in the poconoes that no one has service in. Call quality is equal to what you expect from VZW.

Also, after using suretype, I must say it does do a very good job, after about a month of emals it will have adapted it's dictonary to your writing style and you will rarely find errors in your emails, I can only assume it will continue to improve as it learns. Contrary to what I have read in a few...

I just got my 7130e today after a week from HELL with the Motorola Q.

I initially bought the Q b/c I've always used Moto products and wanted to 'keep it in the family' when I finally made the jump to a PDA.

Man was THAT a bad choice.

The Moto Q has a battery life of about 3 hours (no exaggeration); constantly froze up and all functions were inaccessible when sending/recieving email.

I took that sucker back and went with my initial gut decision--the Blackberry 7130e.

Super easy to set up/configure (I have 7 email addy's pushed to it); the battery seems to be holding it's own and the reception/sound quality is super.

So to the original poster--Go with the Blackberry. You won't regret it.

I just bought a 7130E and have been using it for two weeks now. I love it! The sound is crystal clear and loud. The speaker phone is OK, not as good as the Motorola Q but overall I like the Blackberry better than the Q. I used the Q for a few months and still think it is a great phone but does not stand up to the 7130E.

I have been using my 7130 for two days and I can already say that I love it. I went from using the LG-8100, which was a great phone, but decided to go with a PDA device. It took about a month for me to choose between the Motorola Q and the Blackberry. I like the look of the Q however I love the functionality of the 7130. I am still getting used to using the different features but have found that the phone is easy to program. I miss voice activated dialing but I am sure that I will get over that soon.
