Why don't sprint employees know about sprint phones?

I purchased this phone maily because this site notes this phone is capable of pc sync - so I can sync my phone w/ my Outlook Contacts, Calendar, and To Do List. I also have an internal bluetooth on my PC. The 4 sprint employees at the store didn't know how to do the sync, and the user guide says nothing of synchronizing the phone. If the phone can't do this I'm definitely returning it. Also - does anyone know any sprint non-pda phones that have the sync capability or any phones that will be out soon that have this ability.

While I'm asking questions. The approximate 30 ringers that came w/ the phone are fork on chalkboard bad. The sprint employee told me that I could use MIDI or MP3 files from my computer to use as ringers? Is that true...

PC sync doesnt necessarily mean it will run outlook........However, the Sanyo 4930 will.....look for phones that have Business Connection capability, or the box specifically says it will sync outlook. Look for alot more phones coming to have bizconnect capability! (Sanyo 9000 will I'm almost positive)

ok, coming from someone that works for one of the phone companies, the stores...and the people in them, are complete morons! if you ever do anything at a store, call that carriers customer care and double check and make sure.
Also, double check the bluetooth settings on the computer and the phone, make sure their recieving each other.
and as far as the MP3 ringers...i dunno about that exact phone, but most of them, you have to either move that song onto the phone's memory, or where you choose the ringer, you have to point at the memory on the SD card. also...bigger SD cards are well more than worth it. we sell the 512MB for 52.99, not bad for about 30 more mp3s or over something around 2 hours(or more) of video capture or pictures.
