If ur goin to convert mp3's to a different file type to use as a ringtone, which would have the best quality to make it sound like u got it off vzw tones?

for ringtones there is no need to convert from MP3 to any other format. You only need to worry about WMA format if you are going to be using the a950's music player on a phone with a950.YK24 software.

but whenever i put a mp3 file onto my card under my_sounds it doesnt work, its like i didnt put anything on it

ah, you never mentioned a card. I was thinking you meant with a data cable. my bad.
