MP3s redux
okay im takin advantage of the sending the mp3s to 10digitmobilenumber@vxwpix.com only thing is my full mp3s average around 4.00 mbs and the phone will not recieve message if its too big....how do i make small clips of my mp3s to make them compatible to send them and assign as ringtones any help is apreciated

Well, I don't use Bitpim for my 950 because it is not supported by Bitpim yet (which is obviously why we use the e-mail method), but I still go to the ringer section on Bitpim, add my ringtones, which then gives me the option to crop them down to 30 seconds or whatever you choose. I then drag them back to my desktop to e-mail them to my 950. I'm sure there are other programs to do this, but it works fine for me so I haven't looked any further. I have the a950, a 512MB card, and BitPim.
I don't have a USB cable yet.
Is there a way to use BitPim to modify the soundfiles then dump them on the card and get them to show up on the phone?
I've created a ringtone in BitPim and it says it's an .mp3 file. I can't get it to show up on my phone.

How do you crop them once you add them to the ringer section in Bitpim? It doesn't give me that option.

i finally got bitpim to let me crop them in there. for some reason i have to right click to add and then it gives me the option to convert and crop the file
