V-Cast games
I just recently discovered that on my new 950, I can't download any of the special V-Cast games that are supposed to be one of the selling features of the phone. I go into GIN, Fun and Games, New App, but then when it lists all the different type of games available, there is no listing for V-CAST Games like there is on other V-Cast phones.
I just reviewed the thread about someone who couldn't download wallpapers from GIN and am curious if anyone else is experiencing problems like mine or the person who couldn't download wallpapers.

I just checked on my 8100 and it allowed me to go to the Vcast game section...you may need to call VZW. Sounds like a programming problem

VZW may not have the games for the phone yet. I remember many people complaining about the E815 and its lack of games when it first came out. I would give it like a month or so but I would still call CS to make sure.

I've noticed with a lot of new phones when you go into games, ringtones, or any app. there sometimes isn't a lot of choices, but after awhile they add to it. Not sure if it just takes time to load everything in or what, but I'd keep checking back on your phone and it should be available soon. You may also do what wwhizzard suggested and call CS just in case there is another problem.

I got the 950 last week, and all of the options for downloading games are out there and available. Just haven't gone and gotten any.

Actually, I did check around other stores in my area and no other 950s had V-Cast games enabled on them either. I also called Verizon's technical support and even though in the past they have been quite helpful, the woman I spoke didn't know her ass from a hole in the ground.
Alas, just this very evening, I checked again and there it was under Fun & Games: VCAST Games. Now the only game available is Ghost Recon, but hey, it's a start. I figure there will be more games loaded in the weeks to come. Thank you all for playing and for those of you who didn't win, better luck next time. 😛
