Does anyone know when this phone is going to be in the stores? I know it is available online, but when can you buy it in the stores and through customer service?

I saw it was on the website, but my question is will it be available in the store at all? If so when? I know everyone is saying the 11th of October but is that true and if so where did you get that information?

I work for VZW and on InfoManager it says that the official store release date is Tuesday, October 11th. However, it's going to be available in Circuit Citys on Sunday. I just read this today.

I have been following the release of that phone since July and I'm sorry to say that I still have no information on the release date. The last time I spoke with the Nokia rep, he told me it would be released in August at the indirect dealers. And if the phone sold well, then VZW would get it eventually. Well, as we all know, it still has not been released at indirects or directs. I do not know if VZW's departure from Radio Shack has anything to do with this delay, but my guess is no.
Interestingly, I was on the Nokia website the other day and I found the 6256i listed under the "Coming Soon" tab under phones. So maybe it really is coming out soon, I don't know. I'll see what else I can find out and post when possible.
