Does Verizon not like BT Dialup?
Since this isn't the first phone I've noticed without BT dial-up support, I have to ask the question. Is it just this phone, or does Verizon stray away from BT Dialup?

bt dialup would give people the ability to tether devises and use the vcast service @15.00 a month for unlimted internet access... so verizon disables this and wants you to spend 59.99 a month on an unlimted data plan.. they also would want to sell you a data card for the laptap.. it kinda sucks but if you want that feature goto to 8900 or the E815(hack it) and then you can tether.. and btw if you don't care if you tether to evdo speeds or not just by the v710 it DUN profile works great but its only 1xrt

Be carefull with teathering. VZW is constantly looking at accounts to find people who are teathering. i did it for a while, and got a call from them. Didnt think anything of it, until the shut all my data features off! Had to call back and beg them to put it back on. So you may be able to get by for a while but just a heads up!
