Motorola i850 / i855

Off network PTT?

Something that occurred to me after my initial posts: I've noticed that both the 760 and this model have off network PTT capability...will the range be as good as Nextel's bar-style offerings with the same ability?

yes, they should be UP TO 6miles range without obsrtuctions

6 miles is idealistic. The range is about 2 miles. It's coming on most of the newer handsets, and its called DirecTalk.
