can you use your 970 as a MP3 player in a car?

I sell Cadillac's and some of them have an input for Auxilary audio and I was wondering if I can plug a 970 in the input and use the 970 as a MP3 player to play through the speakers.

I can see no reason why not but you would need an adaptor to go from 2.5mm tip-ring-ring-sleeve to 3.5mm TRS. Not sure if you can buy that or not. My XM radio has an aux input that I have been thinking abou using in the same way.

i was able to use my 8100 as an mp3 player in my car via an adapter and fm modulator. I dont see y it wouldnt work with the 970

Theres a really good adapter found in the plantronics m40s set. Thats the one i use.
