does the 970 play mp3's at 64k bitrate???
when i had my lg8000 even if i put a 128k bitrate mp3 on my mini sd card the phone would only play it at 64k?? is this the same for the 970???
ps-anyone get their PC to recognize the 970 via USB???? i wany to transfer files to it via bitpim. thnks

As far as I can tell it seems to play them back as is. The tiny little speakers might only be able to reproduce a frequency range equal to 64bit. With headphones it sounds like I would expect a 128k or 160k mp3 to sound. I haven't tried a higher bitrate than that.
Drivers aren't available yet as far as I have seen. There was a link to some on this site or HOFO but they didn't work for those who tried. I don't have a data cable and bitpim does not support this phone yet.
