Well the Best Buy thing, as mentioned before, is done as a promotion. So, basically BestBuy gets the chance to sell the phone before VZW through an agreement. In any case, what I heard from the BestBuy salesperson was that VZW stores wont be selling them until a couple more months... although I have heard that it should be coming out on the 18th of September. Anybody?

As has been reported in various places, yes, Best Buy got this as a promotion - but apparently not every BB store got these phones. The official release date by Verizon is around October 18 (pushed back from the original date of September 2).

Now I think that is real interesting concerning the so called release date of Oct. 18 - because last month on this forum someone (supposedly from Verizon) guaranteed that the official release date was Sept. 2 and everyone thought I was out of it for saying no one really knows the release date until it is released - I guess I have to say I told you so! 🤣 🤣 🤣
