Verizon is Activating...

VZW is activating these phones before they are even on the shelves in the stores? I didnt know they did that.

This phone is available at Best Buy. Verizon is activating them, as well. It is scheduled to be released (according to vzw infomanager) through Verizon on october 18.

Yes, they will be activated by Verizon when they are purchased at Best Buy, but they will not be activated prior to being sold.

Thanks, I did. I also in the meantime looked online at Best Buy for my area and they don't
list either the Lg 8100 on Samsung 970.
(east of Pittsburgh, Pa)
