9800 or wait for RAZR?
Just trying to get some opinions. Should I buy the 9800 or wait for the RAZR to come out on verizon.
...
Thats kind of funny. Thats like asking "Do I go with the H2 or wait for the new tiny 2 door sport coupe to come out?"
Do you only want the Razr because its thin (looks cool)? This thing is in a whole different catagory size wise, and this will give you more functionality for it too.

There's no comparison between the 9800 and the RAZR... I've used both the RAZR [ bro's phone ], and now have the 9800.. and in the one week that I've played with this new LG toy, I wouldn't want the RAZR đ

Add me to this list too. My razr is sitting in a drawer.
The razr wins on looks and weight.
The 9800 wins on EVERYTHING else.

đ I have "heard" that Verizon isn't looking to carry it until late 2007...they are waiting for motorola to get rid of all of the bugs before they will even think of carrying it.....just my 2 cents...

I heard moto hasn't even designed it for verizon yet. They might even drop it at the last minute. Tell me...what is so cool about the razr that everyone is waiting for it?! Its small but does it do other stuff too? (i just go the 9800 and am trying it out just for fun) I kinda don't like it yet. âšī¸

I personally don't see why everyone loves the RAZR so much, I mean afterall it is a Motorola and we all know how those are. I think the thing with them that draws so much attention is the looks and not much else. It does look cool, to have such a slim phone, but it feels cheap to me, like most Motorolas, and personally I'd rather have some bulk...a good sturdy well-made "strong" phone.

I agree the RAZR does have a *cheap* feel to it but it works great!!
However, I have a strong feeling that with it's Bluetoothing abilities being axed by Verizon, the RAZR will become just another cell phone with no excitement!
Plus, the RAZRs been out for a while with other carriers so the *exclusivity* and *coolness* factor is no more, IMO đ
