Wait, SAMSUNG created the technology?

I don't think so. They licensed it from a company that created it, since both LG and Samsung are out of korea and are huge competitors, LG decided to license the technology as well...

This looks like a big a800 knock off. I'll take 1xRTT for a better cam anyday!

What are you talking about??? The a800 is a slider without a QWERTY keyboard. This phone is a clamshell with a QWERTY keyboard. I don't see the resembelence at all.

But, to those of you that are blind, there may be quite a resembelence. 😈 🙄 😈

Please, do you have anything constructive to say or does everything you say have to have the word Samsung in it?

Hey!

Somebody finally cought it.

I was just making a sarcastic point that Samsung and LG, both Korean competitors, got the technology both near the same time (SAMSUNG FIRST!!!).

While we're on the subject, it's spelled "caUght". 😛 All that aside, I think a business card reader should be on all business-market phones, ie PDAs and whatnot. It sure could come in handy.

I have never been to this forum, but after seeing grown men and woman argue about who created a "technology" or "knocked-off" a phone, I just had to join! Do you all own stock in these companies? Are you part of a law firm that is litigating based on a breach of technology?!?!! OMG! This is gonna be fun ;)

I think Samsung owns Tuolumne.

He's the biggest Samsung fanboy in the world. Like I said in another forum. If Samsung put said a turd was their next phone, he'd call it their "groundbreaking organic phone" and say how great SS is.

😛
