Nokia 6101 / 6102
6102 for cingular has shipped
my store has ordered the 6102 and it should be here any day now. we are getting a delivery tomorow and it might be in that shipment.

Ditto for the Balto-Wash area. Local manager says they should be in the store any day now and the store has 6102 posters all over for with a Back to School theme. Also, our commercial account rep looked up the purchase order and it showed a large shipment due into the warehouses by Sept 16th.
Interesting bit of info – he said when they were given info on the 6102 the stats showed it as having the best reception of any phone Cingular has carried to date. He also confirmed PTT was just around the corner but couldn’t confirm it would arrive on Sept 1 with the new rate plans.

It may not be 6101 because of 900 band. Cingular uses 850. So, if it for Cingular, it is 6102 🙂

The buttons on 6102 are ugly and small.

Pretty confusing with the 6101 and 02. Ive seen so many pics on the internet of both of them. The Chinese 6102 looks totally different than any version. To me the 6101 and 02 look similar, dont see no differences. Ive seen two color schemes- all white or dual tone black, but overall the phones look the same. 😕

Not for sure but the Cingular commercial i saw had the design body of the 6101 and they called it the 6102. Told u its confusing.

How long does it take for a store to receive the phones once they are shipped? And will most stores get them at the same time?
(i.e. do stores automatically get a shipment? or does each store have to order them first and it depends on the supply person to order thm once they are available?)
