I work at a Cingular store in CT. My district manager told me he spoke with Nokia people who confirmed that this model will be out in the early summer some time. No exact date however. I personally can't wait, I love Nokia and I have always wanted a flip phone from them. 😁

It will definatly be Cingular and the sim-free price of the phone is about $325 or so, so the subsidized price will probably be about $100 with a 2-year contract.

Its a midrange phone... I hate it when people pick stuff apart. You cant ALWAYS expect the phone to have EVERY feature. Poor people need phones too.

It definately looks good, however the battery life isnt too great! 4 hours talk time?? They can do better than that! 😉

4 hours on a nokia means 4 hours. most companys, like motorola say 6-7 hours but are more like 4.

No one is picking the phone apart. Didnt know that one feature actually meant EVERY feature. Poor people shouldnt try to buy phones they cant afford ie a midranged phone.

SO I am still and AT&T customer, i don't want to lose the phone I currently have, MOTO V505 which I love, but Cingular reps aretelling me once i get a new "cingular" phone, my old ATT ones are garbagge...any suggestions on how to use the old ones still once i "switch over" to Cingular?

Rogers Wireless in Canada 🤣 but usually if rogers has it, Cingular has it 5 monthes earlier.

Sprint does not run on mhz-- they run on CDMA system. The device is tri band, will work with tmobile and cingular. Tmo will have it in august. Not sure about Cingular.

Price, don't know. Release date: early summer. Carrier: T-mobile for sure. THe 850 phones are being launched for the new 850mhz coverage that will soon be complete.

i guess you were wrong. it will be for cingular. anyway cingular has way more 850 then t-mobile.

The black version is being release by T-Mobile in Mid-July. It will have the 850 band which T-Mobile is expanding. Anyone have a specific date?

this will also be a cingular phone in the south central region (i.e. oklahoma regional area). i just received the new price list today and it will cost agents about $150 and it falls in the same class as the motorola v220. there is not an order date on it yet, just will be available by the end of july. 😁

had a manager meeting yesterday, I was told that this phone is to be released by Cingular on July 26......T-Cingular will probably release it in August.
