new memory card

I recently upgraded my memory card from 512k to 1G. Radio Shack workers told me that I could transfer all my files that I had installed on the 512 card to the 1G card using a reader and the data cord...I put my old card in the reader and connected it to the USB port. I then connected the phone to the computer using the USB cable. I copy and pasted everything from one to the other. All my music is there (big deal) but my 2 games and my brain challenge program all say "license has expired" when i click on the icon??!?!
I didn't pay a lot of money for them but $35 bucks is $35 bucks...how can i get my installed software onto the new card?

I've run into similar situations moving downloaded software from one Palm to another. In those cases I was able to input the original PIN number and be up and running. They don't want folks sharing multiple copies of one purchased program, but you should be able to use it on a new device. Have to confess I have not tried it yet on my Moto Slvr, but it seems like it might be a very similar situation. Hope you saved your registration codes.
