Two questions of 8100 owners--
1) Can you use the speakerphone with the phone closed?
2) If you're on a call with a wired headset and the phone is closed, will the call end if the headset becomes unplugged?
This happened occasionally on my 4400, but the call would still be in progress so when I plugged the headset back in, the caller was still there.
On my Nokia, if the headset is unplugged (with the phone closed) the call is ended.

you cannot select speaker phone, close it and use it. However if you plug a headset in close the phone and unplug the headset the speakerphne will work while the phone is closed. So if you unplug your headset it will not hang up it will switch to speaker phone mode with the phone clsoed. On another note why wouldn't you take advantage of a bluetooth headset? that is one of the things that make this phone great.
