8100 major issues vs E815 major issues

I have just done a quick scan on this 8100 forum and so far you got "clarity issues, voice mail and blue tooth pairing problems, MPS and memory complaints, pic sending problems, plenty of ugly words thrown around like crippled, nuetered, bastardized, etc."

Sounds like the same mixed bag of complaints on the good ol' E815 forum. I don't think the 8100 is any more prone to problems than the E815, I think you got people that don't read directions, people who have unrealistic expectations of the what a cell phone can do, way to many quality control issues with cell phones in general and a bunch of immature kids posting on this forum.

Folks, here is the reality:

1)neither the 8100 or the E815 "blows the other away" in any respect. ...

Well, there's size, too. The 8100 is a bit lighter, if that's a big consideration for you.

Both are good phones. However, for the record...

I just connected to a Bluetooth Motorola Speaker - HF-820. It took about 30 seconds and works great.

I don't have any clarity issues at all.

No voicemail problems at all.

I believe all first runs of anything have small problems to work out - so I'm sure both phones will work just fine.

Personaly - I like blue! 🙂

The fit and finish of the 8100 blows away the Moto, in my opinion! Maybe the same plastic is used (which I doubt), but the 8100 implementation is far better! Just close the E815 and slide the the 2 halves of the clamshell from side to side. It feels flimsy and junky!! The 8100 feels solid and sturdy!!

My 815 dosn't slide back and forth, furthermore, I have been considering both phones and still considering the 8100, BUT, it's funny on here that everyone has been bashing the 815 and saying it was recalled, etc. and now that the 8100 is getting in more hands, there sure seems to be a lot of various problems with it too!!!!!
