Guys NO JOKE. I called verizon 611....i asked to upgrade my plan to 2 year and im eligable for the $100. I said i didnt want to upgrade yet because i was waiting for a new phne. She asked whick one..i said VX8100 she said the phone is available to Business accounts (Which Mine is) but not on website only over the phone. The phone is $199 with 2 year.then minus my $100 i got charged $99....and im getting a rebate on it.....I think she said the rebate was $50..... I paid for express delivery.

Just spoke with them. She talked with Sales and they do not have it in stock but to expect it within the month of July. She had no pricing info available.

i read that too on our site. yeah and it does say that july 11th is when it will hit the line up. i checked the packaging as well and it only comes with a home charger and thats it. everything else including the holster you have to buy separately. also i checked the warehouse inv and there is aprox 2500 in the warehouse as well

I confirm all of this info. I myself saw all of this info today on Verizon's Infomanager (same as Infocenter). Also, to clarify, the warehouse that has them in stock is in the WEST. To anyone who cares, the official release date of the E815 is July 3rd.

I can see that the 8100 is on there, now when I looked at it this morning I didn't see a release date. But I have heard the 11th of July from some higher ups.
The phone could be coming earlyer or later to some markets or resalers (like radioshack, or Bestbuy).
Some of this is based on if that market hss EVDO or not. I remember the v710 came out earlyer at radioshack in August of last year.
Yeah, you can't get phones early though the business channels, only smartphones, PDA's and Air cards (like NOV 620's, Samsung i730's).
If that was the case everyone could go into a store and ask the manger to order the phone thought the business channels. People were doing that with the Treo 650...

Alot of my phones have different Area codes, and some are on a Shared plan. but that was a mistake because your not suppossed to have a CROSS MARKET PLAN. So they asked me to switch plans for these phones....and they CALLED ME TO TELL ME THE PHONE WAS AVAILABLE.
So all the NON BELEIVERS an kiss my vx8100!!!!

I have a Corp Account. Alot of my phones had cross market shared plans. Of which was not suppossed to be allowed. That means Phones with different area codes on the same plan. In November they called me up asked me to change my plan. I said No. So what they did to make it up to me was they put me on seperate plans but charged me as if i was on the SAME PLANS and credited me every month till now.
they called me and said that at the end of this month they would stop crediting me, and free me of my contracts.
