Creaking phone
I just got this phone a week ago and had a question for others who own the phone. My battery cover creaks really bad. When i text someone it is real bad. Is this normal with this phone??? I'm just wondering if I should switch it out before my fifteen days are up. Other than that this phone is great. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Very poorly constructed, only keeping it for signal strength until something better launches.
I tried the LG 8300 and loved the quality build but signal strength was marginal at best.

I've seen about 10 E815's or so and can tell you build quality varies a bit but the majority are well built. I tried a new battery door on one of our E815's and it stopped creaking altogether. My guess is the original one wasn't quite form fitting. If it bugs you, have it replaced within 30 days and they'll give you a new one. Otherwise, try a new battery door.
