Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood

.wav files work, but not .mp3 files

So I decided to try wav files rather than mp3s to see If I could get those to work instead, and low and behold they work. I still cannot get mp3s to work though. Can anyone confirm this?

You need to change the extension on the mp3 to .mid. Check here https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/p_forum.php ?fm=m&ff=663&fi=431457

No...you dont' have to change extensions. mp3's works just fine. But keep the file name short and exclude stuff like @$';,,/
