I am hoping that someone will have an idea of what the best bluetooth headset there is for the e815. I love the jabra wired headset, but have had 7 of them break within a year. ANy thoughts? If you think Jabra, then please do say so , I'd be willing to try it.

I got my H500 from Amazon, but VZW now sells it. If you have the insurance on your plan, it will only cover your BT headset if you bought it from VZW.

I'd like to purchase the H500 by motorola and it shows up on the verizon wireless website when I do a search. Problem is when I add it to cart, it doesn't show up. Any thoughts? Also, does anyone have the desktop charger that is offered by Verizon which also charges a spare battery? I'd like some thoughts on that as well.

I have used the hs820 and the hs500 models and both of them are excellent and i have about the same battery life from both of them. i currently use the hs500 because i like the looks better 😁 and they really do work up to 30 feet away. i sell the hs850 at my workplace but to me it looks too bulky and the mouthpiece extends down too long. but if you're going to be away from a charging device for quite some time, then the hs-850 will provide you with longer charge life. i'd stick with motorola brands though 🤣

I got turned on to a Plantronics 640 and it has worked great for me. Size is small and it does not need an ear hook (though it comes with one). Battery life is very good and the charging tube has the adapters that fit the phone's power cord.

My only gripe is that when it is on and linked to the phone, when I forget and flip open the phone to talk, the ear piece does not release the link. It is the same as if corded headset was plugged in.

The form factor is great and it actually will let you get away from your phone by several feet. I actually forgot my phone was on the column of my car and got out in the middle of a conversation. I closed the car door and the signal did not start to degrade until I was about 5ft away. I was i...

I'll also throw my vote in for the Motorola HS820. It works great. Good battery life. Clear voice transmission. No echo that I have been told about.

I also have the Logitech HS02-V07 Mobile Freedom headset. I DO NOT recommend this one. It has an echo problem. I only use it now in the car as a last resort. Plus I am going to use it for a bit to get my money's worth, them replace it with another Motorola. I think this may be a case where the same brand really does work best.

Just my 2 cents.

I find the H500 to be the best out of three of the Motorola's I've used. The H850 is as good as however, a little bulky, long boom & you can't shut the blinking light. The H700, small unit, small boom, very nice style & you CAN turn the blinking light off. BUT, Don't waste you money. They haven't got the bugs out of this one yet. Poor response to the phone, signal quality not near as good as the 500 or 850 & no distance from the phone what so ever. Walk ten feet away you start loosing you signal. This so called "noise canceling technology" that is stated to be in this unit might be screwing up the mix. Lets go Moto, Fix this one! 😡

I do not know much about the bluetooth items but I took the advice of the people in this forum and purchased the h500 by Motorola. I cannot get used to it. I can totally tell I'm on a wireless, it just is kind of crackly and stuff. Is the bluetooth supposed to be as clear as the wired headsets or is this normal?
