Is anyone having a problem with Verizon \ Motorola E815 phone. 99% of my calls come in as "Unknown"!! Friends are calling me & thier numbers are programed (even if they weren't, it should show a number!) & the caller ID says "Unknown caller"!! I just called my cell phone with the same message (over & over again)!! Must be a phone software issue. Anyone else having this proplem? I also read that some Verizon stores pulled this phone due to some issue. đŸ˜ĸ ☚ī¸

I was having this problem with my v710 too. It must be a network problem, not a phone problem. I just upgraded to the e815. I'll see if it still happens.

I hope you are right. I really like this phone. Maybe I screwed it up by updating (*22😎 the phone yesterday shortly after I got it. Since I bought it over the weekend, maybe my profile or something isn't right yet.

I'm having the same problem. It says unknown caller but if you look at the recent recieved calls, it has the correct name. Any fixes?

My recent call list all display "Unknown". I have gotten 19 calls yesterday & today & only one came up with a name. All the rest were unknown. 😡
Very frustrating.

đŸ¤Ŗ I didn't know they could do that i knew they could have your number come up as private but i didn't know they could shut off your caller ID feature.

Hey motoman82,

They did! I stood in their "tech support line" for 30 minutes. The tech support person went in the back & came back & told me (what you had told me last night) to get a new phone because she couldn't fix it. I went to ANOTHER line & waited for a new phone rep. I told her what her colleague (a few feet away) had just siad. She smiled & said "honey, you don't need a new phone, we accidentally shut off your caller ID feature". In less than 30 seconds & hitting a few keys on her computer, PROBLEM SOLVED!!

All in all, I am glad of the outcome. I LOVE LOVE this phone. 😁 😁

It is a good phone and I'm glad they were nice to you about the situation that always makes it easier. I love my E815 as well. Motorola did a good job this time
