Follow-up to the E815

The follow-up to the E815 is already in the works and will be released by December just in time for Christmas. I am waiting for this one. I currently own the V710 and this is good enough for me. I get 5 hours of talk time from the extended battery and I like the fact I can transfer my mp3's to the phone. I never bothered getting that software update they came out with on the 710 model. I just don't see any problem with the way it works as it is. Maybe if I owned one of those new sports cars that had blue tooth it would be a different story. I can't see how the reception on the E815 could be better than the 710 which is already excellent. Sometimes, I think it's just people's ideas when they get a new phone they think the reception is bet...

Nothing wrong with hangin on to the V710, it is a good phone. I had the V710 and traded up to the E815 during my two week trial, initially, I had a little remorse because the V710 worked fine for me. However, the longer I own the E815, the more I can appreciate the little refinements. It is almost like Motorola looked at a good product and said "where can we make it better". Main improvements are in the areas of the camera, keypad, outside display, voice dialing, battery life and memory. If you don't place value in any of these areas, then you are all set with the V710 which is no slouch to begin with. Sure there will be another phone around the corner that will be better and even more refined, but judging by the fact that Motorola onl...

There is no buzzing or any ditortion on the E815...and the reception is steller on the v710 and IS BETTER on the E815.
