I have been using the E815 for a solid day after trading in my V710. As I have stated before, anyone who brags about the E815 having a better build quality than the V710 is disillusioned, they both have the same plastic type feel, nothing cheap, pretty much cell phone standard fare and nothing to criticize or brag about. Early issues are as follows: I have had some intermittently echoing on a few calls, for some reason the phone doesn't find my BT HS810 all of the time and doesn't seem to sound as clear with the HS810 compared to the V710. Interesting, thank you. I've been trying to decide between the V710 and the E815 (and even the LG VX-6100). Based on what you've just said, you've got me leaning toward the V710 because it is trimode and the E815 doesn't appear to have enough other advantages to offset that.

Don't get me wrong, the E815 is a beautiful phone and has more features than I need on a phone. If it does the basics well, then I am glad I chose it over the comparable LG. As I understand it, you can get the E815 for the same price or less than a V710 so I would get the E815 just because it should be as good as the V710 and a little more refined in some areas. Again, the phone looks and feels awesome, to me to be critical of the phone or rings tones is secondary. On paper, this is the phone to own, time will tell.
