I had the chance to test out a E815 today for about an hour at a Circuit City Store i didn't find any problems with the phone in the hour. But i wasn't able to check out the charging port either which is a great concern of mine. So to anyone who already has the E815 if you have experienced any glitches or charging problems if you could let me know i would appreciate it or if you could let me know the better features of the phones as well i would appreciate that as well. I read some reviews in this forum from a couple people but i don't know how much they were able to test their phone and so forth. So any input would be greatly appreciated!

I got the e815 on Friday afternoon. I played with it for a while & set up the phonebook. Took a couple of pictures. Surprisingly, the camera is much better than the v710.
On Saturday I made a long distance call to my Mom in Florida on her home phone from my home. She said she heard herself echoing. Called her on her cell(sprint). Still echoing & breaking up on my end. Called verizon wondering if it was service or the phone. Held on for 27+ minutes before getting frustrated & hung up. Called from my cell(from home)to my home & my daughter told me she heard herself echoing also. Took off the speakerphone - clear no echoing or breaking up.

Headed to Circuit city called home- same problem. Got to Circuit City & exchanged the phon...

That echoing could mean problems in the network. There might have been an issue with the echo cancellors. I'm sure the network team is well aware of the situation and is fixing the problem ASAP. Things like bad echo cancellors is a big issue in the network dept. anything that isn't working or is out of service is taken very seriously. Try calling up customer service and open up a trouble ticket with the network dept.

Hope that helps.
