Does anyone know when this phone will be out? I was planning on getting the lg vx-8000 but I think I'm going to wait for this.

The phone is behind schedule and the company is still trying to correct problems in the 710. Since basic testing is just beginning and the Verizon friendly testing is a long ways off, you can expect this phone to be delayed until at least June or July.

Look at the delay in the 710, it will give you an understanding of the problems.

If I were you, check out some of the other phones and not wait for this one. The LG 8000 or Audiovox 8940 are good phones. The 8940 has the same features as the 815 except for Bluetooth and that will be disable most likely except or...

I'm in the same boat. After getting my wife the V265 I'm remembering what I don't like about my LG VX7000. Before the V265 I was ready to pickup the VX8000 but now I'll wait for the E815. I don't care about the next bigger, better phone but I want BT and EV-DO support. I just hope the E815 won't have it's BT features crippled. If not for EV-DO I would be on another carrier because of the poor hardware selection at Verizon and the switch may happen if the 815 isn't out by July. ☹️

Considering that Verizon claims that enabling the OBEX Bluetooth profile on their BREW enabled phones would be going against agreements set between them and BREW developers, you should count on this phone being cripp...
