Up/Down Volume Adjustment
I just got this phone and its got a lot of great features. But I don't understand why the up/down volume keys on the side only adjust the keypad volume. That seems kind of stupid. Does anyone know if this could be changed to adjust the ring volume instead. It would seem to make more sense if it could adjust it from silent mode to a loud ring volume on the side. Or am I missing an obvious solution? Thanks.

Well if you hold down the # key, you can toggle between silent mode and ring mode.

Thanks. That works to go to vibrate. Any way to get it to silence all, or just have the light flash?

u can go to sound settings choose alert type and choose light only. u can also turn off ur message alerts as well.
