I’m new to the forum and have several questions.
I’m not planning to use this for e-mail so is one better than the other?
Is e-bay a good place to purchase either phone?
Have there been any up grades and should I be worried about mfg. date.

Do you have any history with palm of windows mobile devices? Personally I have been using palm devices since 1999 and when the treo 700 came out I went to the store to check it out. After about 2 minutes, I decided I hated the windows mobile interface. The palm interface is a much better hand-held interface IMHO. Also do you have any interest in EVDO? If so the 700 is the only option. If you can wait a while, the 700p will be coming which is basically the 700w hardware but with the palm software. The palms also have higher resolution screens 320x320 vs 240x240 on the windows device. If you prefer the windows interface the 700w is the choice. If you don't need evdo just get the 650.

I tried 3 windows OS phones and i like the palm OS better. If you don't like windows, then try the 700p. It's the same thing as a 650, but more updated.
