Internet Question on Treo.

I was thinking about getting the treo but I see you gotta pay I think 70 bucks a month to use it online? Mobile web 2 is 5 bucks a month on phones, yet to use the web on the treo you can either pay the 70 bucks a month or pay as you go?

Am I missing something here? Is there a way around the fees, maybe a SD wifi type situation? TIA

Thanks Eric!

Is there a way to get around the cost with possibly a wi-fi type connection though?

the only wifi option i have seen is not for the treo. the only verizon phone i have seen with wifi is the samsung i730. verizon does have a pay as you go internet pack it is .015 per kilobyte, but if you plan on using the internet at all it would definitly be worth the money for the unlimited plan.

THanks bro.

I found online there is a sd-wifi card you can buy and make work with the treo, and not have to pay for the service as you can only connect as if you were using a laptop

Yeah, that link would be appreciated here too. I just got my 650 with Sprint about 2 weeks ago (bought it on ebay). Using WiFi would be the best investment for this phones owners.
