Sanyo MM-5600

I own the 5600 and a friend of mine owns the 8000. In regards to the camera, both turn out similar quality pictures, both 1.3MP with a landscape/portrait selector and flash. I think that the 5600 has more music capabilities as you can use a 1gb mini-sd card, as I am in mine. Then again, the 8000 has the ability to play mp3's with the phone closed. You can do this with the 5600 but you cannot change the song without opening the flip, the 8000 has the buttons on the front. As for performance as a phone, both are pretty much the workhorses of their respective carriers. If you're looking for signal strength, I would go with the 8000 just b/c it's Verizon. I have both sprint and verizon...verizon just has more coverage.
