Well I have played with this thing for about 20 of the past 24 hours 🤣 and here goes...

Pros...The picture capabilities are incredible. The video quality could be better but it's great for a phone...probably one of the best in the industry. The front and outside screens are extremely clear! Text messaging is VERY easy and it's easy to send pictures & videos. I like the strobe light feature. The phone is clear and you can hear very well. I like the cartoons and other little things that the phone has. I love the ability to save pics and videos to the card and then put the card in a card reader (connected to the computer) so you can up load the pics and send them to who ever w/o using the vision plan.

Cons...My last phone was a S...

does the card reader come with the camera? I mean, if this crazy phone is over $400, you'd think you'd get more than just a phone?

i guess what i'm really asking is...for $400 you spend, is the phone the only equip you get?

weak... 😕

the card, a card adapter, charger, USB cable, earphones and battery. If your like me and buy a bigger card then that bigger card sometimes comes with a card reader, if not you can buy one VERY cheap. If you don't want to buy another card then I think you could download what is on the card to you computer through the USB cable. 🤣

Im not that happy with the Sanyo 5600. The pics are not that great eventhough its a 1.3MP cameraphone. The camcorder is the same quality as the 7400. Very very disappointing. Before the phone was released to telesales, my desire to buy this phone on a scale of 1-10; 10 is the highest and 1 is the lowest. I would rank it an "8". My ranking now after seeing all the pictures taken from the Sanyo 5600 is an "5".

I'd like to know more. Are you saying you're only unhappy w/the pic/camcorder quality of the phone compared with the 7400? Or, are you saying the phone itself in its entirety leaves you unimpressed? Did you also experience the "1 bar reception"? Have you had it long enough to test the other features it has, i.e. video caller ID, Mp3/AAC player, assigning Mp3 ringers, etc? And, have you had a chance to print out any pics you've taken with the camera? I myself don't have the 7400, I have the VM-4500...which I've been very happy with. I'm currently trying to decide if I want the 5600 or the LG 535 slider phone or perhaps even the Samsung A800 (if it gets better reception than the Samsungs I've owned in the past). Any more comments you could pro...

This phone is freakin sweet . . . first of all weve had a 1.3 megapix camera for about 4 months now. This one is no better no worse. You shouldve expected that.

The mp3 player ROCKS. i had 3 songs on my phone within 15 mins of opening it up. The 16 mb card isnt gonna do you any good you have to get a larger card. Phone calls come in while listening to the music. The ringer even rings in your headset to alert you. You can transfer everything back and forth via the usb cable. 😁

Only downside to mp3 player is that it will not play the files copied via windows media player to my computer (not *.wma compatible). No biggie though most of my files are mp3s. The memory allows for quick navigating through the web (back key works super ...
