Web browser and icons...

Hello, I bought the Blackberry 7100t from a T-Mobile store on 10/2 and it was 299.00 USD with a $100.00 mail-in rebate. I have been a customer for several years and recently upgraded on 9/25 so you might want to look at that. My question is that my 7100t did not come with a "IM" icon nor a "Globe" icon for web browsing as it shows on the box. I have T-Zones but it is not compatible I was told. If I sign up for the Blackberry Web Client service, will the icons show? or did I get a faulty unit?

Although, I am very pleased with the unit having used Blackberries in the past. The screen is flawless, sound quality is good and navigation is fairly easy. Like the fact they have the belt case in the box. Phone looks very complicated at first, jus...

yes...if you sign up for the web client...the im and globe icons will show...the same happened to me till i called t mobile to activate

Is the web client the same as the internet access for $19.99/month? I can't seem to create a web client account to have my Yahoo mail sent to the Blackberry 7100t. I signed up for the internet access and the icons did show after I turned the phone off and then on. Thanks for the response.
