Blackberry Support

I know this phone is supposed to have Black Berry connect. Does this mean the phone actually has a PIN? And does it also sync with a BES or just with the web based push email?

Also has any one ever used this in place of a Black Berry, and if so what are the biggest differences between it and a regular blackberry?

It does indeed have a PIN and will have full access to the Blackberry Exchange Server. According to some new info in the Cingular B2B channels, it's going to be marketed as an alternative device to the RIM branded stuff. The manuals for it say that will do *almost* everything a Blackberry will do. It's a very spiffy little device, and it's got a load of features, but I'm not sure if a die-hard Blackberry user is going to accept it as a true BB device.

Still, Cingular plans on marketing it as a fully functional Blackberry, so we shall see how much it can do.

My initial report on the Blackberry support:

Works pretty well! Not quite as simple of an interface as the Blackberry (expected), but still works good!

Definitely blackberry features and functions but without the "crack" in it...

I just sent back my 3rd BB 8700 because it kept re-booting at random. I'm going to try the Nokia 9300- Can you tell me what the main differance will be on the e-mail side of things. I use it via internet push.
