HBH-662 problem

I just got a new headset for my s710a. I got it to pair up no problem, the phone recognized the headset and vice versa. The headset shows the correct icon during the calls, the phone shows it's on handsfree mode and there is nothing coming out of the phone speaker. Yet, there is no sound coming through the headset and no voice is heard through the headset mic. The volume controls work ok on the headset and I can hear the beeps when you press the button and I can hear the ringing when adjusting the volume so the speaker works. I just get no sound in or out of it during a call. I'm trying to figure out if it's the phone, the headset, or something I am doing wrong. I don't know anyone with a bluletooth phone so can't do any testing. Has...

Well I got it working finally. What a struggle! I figured I would try to remove the device from the phone and re-add it. The phone refused to finish the setup, the headset would see the phone but the phone would give a bluetooth connection failure message or passcode error or something and not complete the process. I tried everything in different combinations but it wouldn't work. I decided to try what I'd do if it were a PC and rebooted the phone. When I went to connect it again it worked, and this time the headset was in full communication and worked as expected!
